Apple Watch Series 11
Apple’s new Watch Series 11 introduces a major health feature: the ability to detect possible hypertension. Using the optical heart sensor, the watch tracks how blood vessels respond to each heartbeat. An advanced algorithm runs quietly in the background, analyzing data across 30-day periods. If it spots consistent patterns that indicate high blood pressure, it alerts the wearer.
Apple expects this feature alone could help notify over 1 million people with undiagnosed hypertension within the first year. The functionality won’t be limited to the Series 11 — Apple confirmed it will also roll out to the Series 9 and Series 10 models.
Beyond blood pressure monitoring, the Series 11 debuts Sleep Score, a tool designed to improve sleep awareness. It evaluates bedtime consistency, duration, wake frequency, and time spent in each sleep stage, then offers insights to help make rest more restorative.
Connectivity also gets a boost with 5G support, offering faster performance, greater efficiency, and broader coverage than LTE. Despite these upgrades, battery life holds strong at up to 24 hours.
The Series 11 comes in Jet Black, Silver, Rose Gold, and a new Space Gray finish, starting at $399.
