Apple held its latest hardware showcase today, unveiling the iPhone 17 lineup alongside refreshed Apple Watch models and the AirPods Pro 3. The iPhone 17 brings larger displays, camera upgrades, and introduces the ultra-thin iPhone Air, which officially replaces the Plus version.Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman also reports that this won’t be the last of Apple’s hardware drops—new devices such as an iPad Pro, an updated Vision Pro headset, second-generation AirTags, a revamped Apple TV, a new HomePod mini, and refreshed MacBooks are expected either later this year or in early 2026.
iPhone 17, 17 Pro, and 17 Pro Max
The standard iPhone 17 has been redesigned to more closely resemble the Pro line. It now offers a 6.3-inch display (up from 6.1 inches on the iPhone 16), a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, and a 48MP ultrawide camera.Apple is also adding fresh colors to the mix: lavender, mist blue, black, white, and sage.
The biggest visual change comes with the Pro models, which feature a horizontal rectangular camera bar spanning the phone’s width. The flash, light sensor, and microphone are positioned on the far right, while the Apple logo remains centered to complement the MagSafe charger. Another notable update: the Pro line has shifted from titanium to aluminum framing.
Pricing starts at $799 for the iPhone 17 with 256GB storage (up from $699 and 128GB on the iPhone 16). The iPhone 17 Pro is priced at $1,099, while the Pro Max comes in at $1,199.
Apple Watch Series 11, Ultra 3, and SE 3
Apple also refreshed its smartwatch lineup after a two-year gap. The new Apple Watch Ultra 3 now supports faster charging, 5G connectivity, and satellite support, paired with a larger display. Both the Ultra 3 and Series 11 introduce blood pressure monitoring, alerting wearers when their levels are abnormally high or low. The SE 3 gains a faster S10 chip, which finally enables an always-on display, though otherwise remains largely unchanged.
Pricing:SE 3 – $249,Series 11 – $399,Ultra 3 – $799
AirPods Pro 3
Apple also launched the long-awaited AirPods Pro 3, priced at $249. These earbuds feature a more compact design, enhanced audio performance, and a new heart-rate sensor. The standout addition is real-time translation, powered by Apple Intelligence, allowing users to instantly interpret foreign languages through their earbuds.
iPhone Air
The standout reveal was the iPhone Air, Apple’s slimmest phone to date, replacing the Plus variant. Measuring just 5.6 mm thick, it’s even thinner than most rivals—including Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Edge at 5.8 mm.The Air packs a 6.6-inch display, a 120Hz ProMotion screen, and goes fully eSIM-only to maintain its sleek form factor. Analysts suggest the model could set the stage for Apple’s much-anticipated foldable iPhone, rumored for September 2026.It will retail for $999 and ship in black, white, sky blue, and light gold.
